02 / THE PERSPECTIVEWhat remains,
What remains,
when we slow down.
I am Nicolas Devaud.
I look at the details first.
In Essaouira, my eye moves from flaking blue paint to a skirt in motion, from a closed door to the open sea.
I look for the moment when a figure, a surface and the light hold together. This first series brings ten of those encounters into view.
